Ascension : Fall production of Terp, a dance group at Knox. So fortunately they allowed me to take pictures this time, but on stage lighting was kinda boring this time, bright and flat all over the entire stage. I was hoping that I could reproduce something like the group shot I had from their last year's concert, but no such luck this time. clear as day time.

Independence Day Fireworks 2007 : This year's July 4th fireworks at Lake Storey wa pretty lame. My friend and I waited forever till it actually started at 9:30pm. Then just after a couple of shots, something seemed to have gone wrong and we saw flash lights flashing on the other side of the lake where fireworks were launched. Everybody had to wait for another 30mins until they finally got it going again, but you know...it ruined my night.

Independence Day Fireworks 2006 : Taken at Lake Storey, Illinois. It wasn't too long but there was enough fun. Pity that the 50mm/f1.4 lens was a bit too long. We had a perfect clear spot to shoot though. Oh yes, Charlie and I biked there, while Fahim ended up running to the park. LOL

Your Bio

HeLlO!

I'm Ben, currently a junior at Knox College in Galesburg, IL. I love photography and just got my first ever dSLR, a Canon 30D w/ a 50mm f/1.4 prime, a 24-70mm f/2.8L zoom and a recently purchased 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM...LOL. I'm done with my lens purchasing for now and am currently working on the assignments and the final portfolio for my digital photography class.

I mainly shoot landscape but do a few jobs for the PR department as well. Hope you enjoy the photos here. Any comments welcome. Thanks!
